Don't see your instrument on the list? Send it anyway — if it has resale value, we'll price it.

Not working? We buy it too. Non-working and parts instruments are welcome — often the units we want most. Tell us what's wrong and what's missing; parts value counts.

What we don't buy: instruments with no resale market — low-value commodity items and obsolete equipment we can't resell, we'll decline honestly rather than haul away. Heavy, freight-size systems are priced strictly on value: freight is a real cost, so model and resale demand decide.

A formal offer needs real information — the details below are what our pricing is based on. Complete submissions get a formal offer within 1 business day.

Photos: front of the instrument / serial-number plate / screen after power-on / all included accessories in one shot. Video (best): 30–60 seconds — power it on, show the self-test or start screen, run one core function if you can.

In your message, please include for each instrument: brand & model / year / condition (fully working, powers on, not working, for parts) / configuration & what's included (computer, software & dongle, accessories) / source (where it's coming from and why it's being sold) / size & weight for large systems / a link to photos or a power-on video (Google Drive, Dropbox, or similar).

Frequently Asked Questions

Do you buy single instruments?

Yes. One instrument or a full laboratory — same process, same 1-business-day offer.

How is my offer calculated?

From real market data: completed sales and current listings for your exact model, adjusted for year, condition, configuration, and completeness (computer, software licenses/dongles, accessories). That's why a complete system is worth more — tell us everything that's included.

What if my instrument isn't working?

Yes — we actively buy non-working instruments, including units that are only good for parts. For these, detail matters even more: tell us what's wrong, what's missing, and send photos or a short video of what it does at power-on. Parts value is real value — don't assume a broken instrument is worthless.

Who pays for shipping or pickup?

Local New England pickups we can often handle in person. For larger systems, freight is arranged together with you and reflected in the written offer, so there are no surprises.

When do I get paid?

Payment timing and method are stated in your written offer before you commit to anything — what the offer says is exactly what happens.

What paperwork do you need?

For instruments used with biological or hazardous materials, a decontamination certificate. If the system includes licensed software, tell us the license/dongle status — it affects the price.

Why do you need so much detail — and a video?

Because two instruments with the same model name can differ by thousands of dollars: year, configuration, software dongles, and completeness decide the price. A short power-on video shows us the instrument actually works, so we can make a firm offer instead of a cautious one. More detail almost always means a better offer.

Do you buy everything?

No, and we'll tell you straight. We buy instruments that have a resale market — major-brand analytical and benchtop equipment, working or not. Very heavy systems are judged hardest on value, because moving them costs real money. If we can't resell it, we won't take it — and we'll say so in our reply, not waste your time.
